Economics Group Business Advice

Since its inception 18 months ago the Economics Group has supported over 40 local businesses to expand and grow. We have grown out of our original meeting place , and now meet in Howards Kitchen Cafe, Gladstone Road, 10.30 – 12.20 on 2nd Friday of the month.

The current group of up to 20 businesses comprises localy made skin care,  environmental and spacial consultants, along side yoga , personal development, web developers and a host of other offers all trading or starting to trade locally. The group is mentored by Business Advisor Yvonne Fuchs (07782 210304). Here is a quote from one of our members,

Macrobiotic Whitstable


Wed 24th March, Thurs 25th March: workshops on effects of eating dairy foods, and the creation of creamy alternatives. Wed is 10-2.30pm, Thurs 5.30-10pm
Wed 21st April, & Thurs 22th April: Just Desserts and Bancha tea. Daily times as above. Following success of previous macrobiotic dinner dates, more dinners are planned, dates to be decided.

Economics Group Launches

The Economics group from TTW will run a  Business mentoring taster session in conjunction with Blue Banana Business  on Friday Jan 15th at 10.30 for an hour and half in Tea and Times (upstairs).

It will be an opportunity for everyone to talk with Yvonne Fuchs  about how she works as a business advisor using the Blue Banana process and about her work : building sustainability in business and social enterprise.

Everyone is most welcome to bring a business issue to the table for some FREE Advice and mentoring.
It is hoped to run the group once a month after this initial meeting
