The idea is to use food that would otherwise have gone to waste. It might involve collecting out-of-date food from shops and supermarkets or food we might have thrown out ourselves. It could be used at Food Kitchens or simply as an excuse for us to get together to make a meal from time to time!
The idea is based on the existing voluntary organisation Foodcycle
