Faversham Permaculture Day

Transition Town Faversham are hosting a permaculture skill-sharing and networking event on Sunday 22nd July between 10am and 4pm, at the Abbey Physic Community Garden in Faversham.

There will be a number of talks and workshops throughout the day, including permaculture sessions with Aranya and Jo Barker, soap making, bee keeping, willow weaving, growing perennial vegetables, and John Rudgard on sustainability at his permaculture smallholding Rifleman Cottage in Ludenham. Aranya will also be talking about his recently published book – ‘Permaculture Design – A step by step guide’.

This event is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and see what’s happening permaculture-wise in and around Faversham. Visitors will also be able to explore the Abbey Physic Community Garden, and see permaculture in action.

Hot food, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks will be available as well as a selection of plants, vegetables and handmade crafts to buy.  This event is FREE, although donations towards the running of the day will be welcome 🙂

Please contact James Thorn if you’re interested in attending, so we can get an idea of numbers.
