Amazing summer volunteering opportunity

March 29, 2011

Gear up for a two-wheeled revolution – join a 2011 Otesha UK cycle tour!

Do something worthwhile with your summer! Join an Otesha summer cycle tour, deliver workshops and perform a play about environmental and social sustainability in schools and youth clubs as you cycle across the UK. There are two tours to choose from: Northern Soul (10th June – 23rd July) and Tartan Trail (5th August – 17th September).

We’ll be taking in the delights of the UK from our saddles, performing a play, making the world a better place, learning new skills (bike maintenance, theatre, consensus decision-making, sustainable and group living… the list goes on), meeting new friends, and generally making mischief.

If you’re 18 to 28 and passionate about creating a sustainable future, then come ride with us. Find out more at www.otesha.org.uk/cycletours. Places are first come, first served, so get your skates on!

If you have any questions or would just like to have a chat about it, then give us a call on 0207 377 2109 or email.

New Sustainability Leadership course

August 2, 2010

My name is Daniel and I work with the Otesha Project UK.  We are launching a Sustainability Leadership course for those individuals who want to green up their workplaces / homes / neighbourhoods, but don’t know where to begin.

In partnership with the 10:10 campaign and hosted at Fforest Camps along the Welsh coast, we’ve schemed up a jam-packed 10 days. The tour will be full of interactive learning about sustainability, hands-on volunteering, action planning, team-building, inspiring speakers, a cycle along the Welsh coast plus loads of tips on how to go away and green up. The program is designed to inspire and train ‘green champions’ to lead change within their lives.

More information can be found on our website:

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to let me know.
