The idea of a nurture group came from the principles and ethics behind permaculture-
EARTHCARE, PEOPLECARE AND FAIRSHARE.
The nurture group aims to work with the idea of caring and nurturing, initially to tackle small and easily achievable projects showing that-
a. Small things can make a big difference
b. Great distances are only covered step by step
c. A change in the way you think can make the biggest difference of all.
Included in the nurture group is the concept of self-care. We want to provide the opportunity for individual growth, mutual support and above all FUN!
As a group we would like to provide a forum to exchange skills, knowledge, help, recipes, produce and enthusiasm.
The group was originally set up to cater for parents, carers and young children who prefered daytime meetings where children were welcome, however, but all are welcome.
